Part 2: Missions

The foundation and the drive for missions is love. God is love. God's ultimate demonstration of love is solely through His son, Jesus Christ. Through love, Christ shows us how we can have life more abundantly and then instructs us to make disciples of all nations - thus, our call to missions. The goal of this section is to help equip us for the mission field and to have a full understanding of the Christ-like love we have to exemplify to be an effective missionary.

Wrap Up/Closing Thoughts

You have successfully completed the Discipleship Forum. To wrap up, review the following articles for some reflection;
:: Article #1: C.S. Lewis on Pride >>
:: Article #2: The Sinfulness of Man >>

Based off of the articles above, we challenge you to ask yourself the following questions (answers not required for submission):
- Why is pride bad? What is the point of humility?
- How do you think the world views sin? How do you view sin in your life?

Lastly, we strongly encourage you to memorize the following 4 scripture verses that help summarize the Gospel Message. Memorization of these scriptures will greatly assist in your efforts to share the gospel with the lost on the mission field.
- Romans 3:23 -- "For all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."
- Romans 6:23 -- "For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord."
- Romans 5:8 -- "God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
- John 5:24 -- "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life."
